Our  value racking has 9mm thick chipboard decks, this is much improved over mdf and less prone to warping and bending. Due to cost pressures many manufacturers and sellers have downgraded their product. It's not uncommon for shelving of this type to have 6mm or 4mm thick mdf or chipboard decks, we have even been offered decks in less than 3mm now! In this range our steelwork is 1.2mm thick. Again many sellers offer much thinner steelwork, it all looks similar in ebay photos so our recommendation is to check before you buy.

UDL Weight Loadings - all sizes in this range have been rated by the factory at 250kgs or higher. This is the maximum load when the shelves are loaded perfectly and uniformly, please use as a guide. If you think you will be close to a weight loading you should always use a higher rated product.
