One of the simplest varieties of rhubarb to grow from seed is rhubarb Victoria which may often begin to be harvested a year after planting. Medium-sized, delicious, juicy, green stalks and greenish-red leaves are produced by this plant. It is a well-liked type that has been quite fruitful for many years.
 
Growing instructions:
 
Sow the Rhubarb Victoria seeds from April to May. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from April to July.
