Characteristics: A flowering, deciduous shrub with mid-green foliage. Produces large, spherical flower heads, made up of small white florets.

Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and Spread of 2.5m.

Period of Interest: Spring to Autumn foliage interest. Produces large clusters of small white flowers from July to September.

Water and Maintenance: Position in full to partial sun and plant in a moist, well-drained soil.

Hydrangea flowers are highly popular due to their show appeal, with large spherical flowerheads covering the shrub throughout Summer. Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' are deciduous shrubs that show off mid-green foliage and large globes of closely packed, cream white flowers. As Autumn approaches, these flower heads will transition to a dark green colour.

This plant will tolerate partial to full sun, but will bloom most prolifically in full sun. Plant in a fertile, moist, well-drained soil. This plant is well suited as a feature plant in a border, bed or cottage garden.
