Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' is one of the most spectacular maples for autumn colour. Leaves of this tree turn a deep scarlet / crimson in the autumn months. It is a strong growing cultivar, which forms a nice trunk in a short time (for a maple). It is tolerant of non-acidic soil, more tolerant of wind burn in the Summer and is a strong growing tree form Japanese maple.

You are buying a approx. 4ft (inc. pot) Osakazuki Japanese Maple in a 15litre sized pot with an approx. 3ft spread . The plant should establish well in the ground, or in a container. The photos show some of the ACTUAL MAPLES on offer (taken throughout the year, last one in Janauary 2024 with no foliage for Winter) . This is a pot grown acer , supplied in its pot. You are buying ONE maple.

Japanese Maples are actually WOODLAND plants, so do keep them in half to 90% shade . They make lovely pot patio specimens, but are also an important feature of Japanese style gardens and fernerys. POSITION: Outdoors. In a sheltered position, both from strong winds (which will scorch the leaves), and burning sun. Partial shade is ideal. Protect young plants from severe frost over winter.

WATERING: Maples must be kept moist - do not let the soil dry out if you plant in a container.
